Changing glass on mirror ? F40

Noticed that right mirror on F40 has a lift and when I press it to adjust , it comes back where it was. I think the scotch of what it's inside has come off a little bit. Anyone know how to take out glass ? And how to put it back , and what should I use 3M or ?

  If this is the same system than the Testarossa, pull off the 2 extremites of the glass.. and it comes off.

Same feeling was on my Testarossa after washing it. I pulled off the glass out and adjust it back to its initial place.

Thanks, you mean 2 screws on the bottom under the mirror ?

mmh Its does not seem to be the same system than the Testarossa. I have no screw on this part. but I will check it tomorrow to make sure.

the glass is clipped inside the mirror on 1 or 2 points.

I will take pictures if it can help you!

Will be very appreciated to you, thanks.

also when I press the glass to adjust it I can hear when it comes back where it was , and like a tape or scotch is peeling off.
